Projects Overview

Beethoven wrote 16 string quartets. Mozart wrote 26. Haydn wrote over 80… Yet we feel that a composer has written a lot for percussion when they have written 2 or 3 pieces. Clock Shop is our new commissioning model in which we work closely with a single composer for many years bringing multiple new compositions to life. 

Composer, Andrew Rindfleisch, is currently writing a new percussion quartet for Clocks in Motion featuring our unique microtonal instruments. This is part of an ongoing long-term collaboration and recording project.

Composer David Colson wrote Clocks micro-concerto for piano with percussion quartet, entitled RISE. Pianist Clare Longendyke recorded this new work with Clocks in Motion in October of 2021.
